Refund policy

Return & Exchanges Eligibility

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase.

*If an order is fulfilled more than 3 business days after purchase, returns are accepted within 14 days from the date of delivery.

Returns or exchanges are accepted only if the item is:

  • Unused and uninstalled
  • Free from marks, scratches, grease, sealant, or damage
  • Returned with all original packaging, components, and accessories intact

Please note:

  • Once a part has been installed, test-fitted, modified, or used in any way, it is not eligible for returns.
  • Custom-made, special-order, or made-to-order items are final sale and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

For Damaged or Defective Goods

If an item is:

  • Faulty, or
  • Damaged in transit

it may be eligible for a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue.

 

Return Process

To ensure a smooth return process, each return request is assessed before approval.

Step 1: Contact Us

To request a return, please email 4jgarage.shop@gmail.com within the eligible return window and include:

  • Proof of purchase (order number sent from the email address of the order?)
  • Reason for return
  • Clear photos or video of the issue

We may request additional information to assess your return. All requested information must be provided within the return window for your return to be initiated.

Step 2: Return Approval & Instructions

Once we receive your request, we’ll confirm:

  • Whether the return is eligible, or
  • Whether the item needs to be returned for inspection

If the item needs to be sent back to 4J Garage, we’ll provide:

  • The return address and shipping instructions
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the item is confirmed to be faulty

Returns must not be sent back without prior approval.

Step 3: Assessment Outcome

Change of mind returns

  • If the item meets the Return Eligibility conditions, a refund will be issued minus any shipping & handling fees
  • If the item does not meet the Return Eligibility, the return may be refused, or a partial refund may be issued, depending on the item’s condition

Damaged or faulty items

  • If the item is confirmed to be damaged or faulty, we will offer an appropriate repair, replacement, or refund
    • Return shipping costs paid by the customer will be reimbursed for confirmed faulty items on Australian orders.
  • If the item is found not to be damaged or faulty, no refund will be issued. The customer may request the item to be returned to them at their cost.


Refunds

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

 

International Orders

For international orders, return shipping costs are the covered by the customer.

If an item is damaged or faulty, we will assess the issue and offer an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, partial refund, or store credit.
